My name is Cheick Sissoko. I’m a neuroscience/biomedical researcher with broad interest ranging from bioengineering to stem cell biology, clinical trial inequity, philosophy of science and african art. Welcome to my small corner of the internet.

I’m not currently available for consulting.

Born and grew up in Western Africa, specifically Bamako and Dakar (respectively in Mali and Senegal). I spent the last decade in the US.

After graduating with a degree in Biology, I spent several years working in Biomedical/Clinical research. Over time, I became more fascinated with the brain, biochemistry, physics, computational analysis, and returned to school to earn an additional degree. I consider learning a privilege and enjoy the torture process of adding to the common body of knowledge.
